Great news about the training ground although it wasn't the best kept secret in football!
Is there ever a week that is dull being an R's fan? If surviving on the last day wasn't enough then we have that excuse of a footballer to debate. Its not as if barton is any good! He is ok at best. No other team in England would pay a fee for him never mind pay his wages!
I have criticised Hughes this season but i have to say the exclusion of Taraabt was a master stroke. He is without doubt our most talented player but it was always going to be a 'backs against the wall' display which would not have suited him!
Can't wait for next season, although i don't get to home games i have managed all but 5 away games which in all honesty at times has been soul destroying!. Onwards and upwards!

Yeah, I was very critical of the decision to leave Taarabt out as I thought we needed to keep the ball as well as possible. Still, all ok in the end mate!!

agree col that was not the game for him to play in, wouldn't have got much of the ball anyway & probably been carrying him,

Those like you and WBA who attend only away games have really had it tough this season. Not just for getting to watch some truly shocking performances but also for missing out on the best atmosphere at LR in many years (and my memory goes back a long way!). I strongly recommend a trip down south for the pair of year next season. I'll happily stump up for a couple of London Prides which will hopefully be even more appropriate this time next year.

Could do with a bit of dull same old... like routinely picking up three points even when we're playing rubbish!

There comes a time when mid table mediocrity is appealing

Cheers aaaarggh but in reality it's been quite a good season for the away mob. Granted Wigan was grim and villa away fustrating but the wolves away game was superb thanks to NW personally getting me a ticket and yesterday was probably the best hoops game I've been to, and we lost....

Appealing but still optimistic I venture! We just finished safe in the PL on goal difference, and while there are many positives for the future, right now I won't be surprised if 17th again next season is cause for amother huge celebrtation after weeks of more nail biting!
