I must say that im chuffed to bits with how things are going at the moment, we have got pennant for another season, hopefully Nzonzi will stay, we have signed a good left back and now we have a player from barcelona. Well done Hughesy!!!!! Utpsssssssssssssssss
Considering at the end of the seasom I feared the worst ultimately it looks like every player is being given a fresh start and we are addressing issues we have all been moaning about for years. Maybe to early to tell if hughes will be a success and theres still alot to do,but least us the fans are a bit more up beat about things at this moment in time and excited again about the prospect of a new season Dare I say even that saturday afternoons may be enjoyble again and not a chore like last season at times
Me too Red n White.. I was sure we we're doomed last season. MH won't make the same stupid subs that Pulis did far to often. At least we can look forward to something different now! New Manager, new ideas, new season with some half decent additional player's. I can't wait.
I watched the game against dallas and thought we played and passed the ball really well, whats everyone else think?
I thought our passing was superb Ricc and didn't look like the side we had been watching the pass few seasons of hoofing it up at every given chance. We even passed it out of defence I still think we need a clinical striker and a few of the Pulis old guard moving on i.e. Whelan, Shotton and even Jones and possibly Wilko who is too much of a liability now. We are like a newly polished gem that just needs a few rough edges taken off it to make it shine!
Agreed Waddo, I thought we played very well. There were some silly mistakes and sloppy passes, but as you say, there are still a few rough edges need dealing with yet. We could still do with a couple of new additions/ replacements, but I reckon a new striker is all we desperately need, and should see us through to January at least.
