    Check this link out: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18255386

It appears that things are getting bad enough with the match fixing scandal that the Italian PM is talking about cancelling national football for 3 years.

Borini's agent does remember us doesn't he. We can but dream.

And it will mean Brendan will not being going there either, who the hell in their right mind would go to such a mess? But can't see them shutting football down for 3 years, there would be an uprising over there as they love the game as much as we do.

Is Liverpool in Italy? The bookies are giving odds of 3/1 that it is.

Yes apparently Liverpool are now 6-4 "on" favourites to be the next Italian club linked to a match-fixing scandal. I heard it on radio Wales just now, they've had a man over there all day waiting as speculation has mounted. They haven't actually got any real news or talked to anyone official, but who cares, it's a great story and if you repeat it often enough then it must be true.

    Right?

I don't see how the Italian government anyone else has the power to suspend football completely. There would be very large lawsuits from clubs that were totally innocent. The obvious solution is to punish the offenders. Even demote teams if that's necessary. But I don't think the innocent should be sacrificed. That's just stupid.
