Just got off the tube at Wembley Park, Sunderland fans out number city 10-1 its like a home game. No one can question the size of the club after this...
Its incredible, the atmosphere is electric already. Been talking to some locals and they are astounded, they did not realise what this meant to us, also they can't understand how much we drink, apparently several places ran out of beer last night. I have got a great seat, am sat in the ground now, behind the goal at the Sunderland end. If we score first this place is going to go mental.
Hahaha, if we win today all the pub owners are going to have to get an extra order in. Club Wembley is all Sunderland too, red n white every where.
Hopefully these fans will come to all home games now, shows we've got them, just need to get their arses in the seats at the SoL. I would be there every week if i lived there, jelly of those who have the option and dont go
I was next to the steps at Wembley Park at about 12ish and there was wave after wave of our fans coming down the steps. There were 4 city fans standing near me all they could do was look with their mouths open - they were really shocked. It reminded me of that bit in the film "Kingdom of Heaven" when they look up as all of the knights arrive and Saladin's man says *"Jerusalem has come" *replace with "Wearside has come" lol PS proud of the lads today
Better than games with customery animal abuse, mock funerals, protests, riots, pitch invasoins, attacks by managers. buoycoutts etc.
Boycotts a bit hypercritical maybe it would be better if our manager did a number two on the floor at an away ground? Bums on seats says it all
Ha ha! Stadium's always full when we play you. But then guaranteed wins are rarer than hen's teeth these days...
A) he didn't (sorry to spoil a good story and all, but there it is...) B) Your manager has more previous than Joey Barton, so spare us the hypocritical crack C) Couldn't think of a better description for what sits on your seats.
The hypercritical mention was about the boycott not about poyet And regarding pardew most dislike him more then we do you so keep highlighting his faults as we would think of more for him Anyway back to the discussion about Attendances not hiding the fact yours if ****
Can anyone translate this into English from the original bitterness? Must be the lack of a cup final and the two derby defeats this season. Or something.
Bitter, I am over the fcking moon you lost the pop cup, who did Swansea beat last year to win it ?? I am glad that your relagation season means so much to you
