With the news that Stan Kroenke had been over to visit the Emirates but shortly afterwards returned to the U.S and Ivan Gazadis negotiating transfers you wonder what the hell they are all doing over there after such a poor preseason and it can't all be Wenger's fault?

Kroenke after a long drawn out battle to win controlling stake in the club has it seems done nothing to prove he will invest in the team.
"The club has funds to invest and will do so wisely. Our constant aim will be to compete for silverware and championships"
Loot at how the new owners at Liverpool have invested in the team!!

Gazadis only seems to have had a negative effect on the team with weak squad players on massive wages making it almost impossible to find another club willing to buy them from us.

Do they trust Wenger too much to step in? Are they just happy we seem to run as a profitable business and not care enough about the actual on field success?

We are in a really bad position here...2 key players obviously do not want to be here, there has been NO strengthening in defence (centre back and new left back needed as a minimum) and so many substandard players still in the squad (Vela, Bendtner, Chamakh, Eboue, Almunia, Squillaci, etc...)

  2. People like Ivan Gazidis have only one aim in mind, their business model and without thinking that a few quid spent could bring in more and if the case of Juan Mata is correct, save quite a fair bit too if indeed we are still after the player. IMHO more should have been done to retain David Dein. Organisational politics freak me out!!!

To be honest I get the feeling it is mostly to do with Wenger's stubborness rather than anyone at boardroom level.
