I know it is not football, but Leicestershire bowled out for 34<yikes>

There was a rumour Top was gonna buy up the leicester cricket and rugby? Think cricket needs it now!

Its harder with cricket because if you get out and get people like Kevin Pietersen, Jimmy Anderson, Graham Swann etc. They will miss nearly the whole season while playing for England, so you are best off getting good players who arent good enough for international. I think our season rests on the 2020 games

Same as rugby, countless times they have had to play with all England players missing, maybe should do this in football? maybe the England team would benefit being together for longer before matches?

Would never happen with football - club rules over country unlike rugby and cricket. As for Leics, they're not a good 4 day side and haven't been for a while. But in 20/20 we are very good and, like Proud says, our season hinges on that. Hope Hoggy and Gurney are fit for that game though.

theres no point them taking over the rugby. Im just as big tigers fan as city and until they raise the ridiculously low salary cap to allow us to compete in europe then there is no benefit for them really!

Still be in a position to buy the best players and have the opportunity to improve the scouting and academy?

except we would be able to, as the best players come with the 'best' wages, which we cannot offer due to such a small salary cap- hence why even the mid-table french teams are on par with us (biggest team in english rugby).

Paul Nixon is retiring as well now. England are hammering India. India just cant deal with Anderson, Broad and Bresnan. Swann has had a bad game and he are still hammering them. Then we have Finn and Tremlett who arent in the team and are more then good enough. For the first time in years both our bowlers and batsman are playing well at the same time. Before it was one or the other

Stuart Broad and Tim Bresnan have both taken wickets and scored runs. Tough one. I would give it Stuart Broad for pulling us out the fire in the first innings and then got a hat trick

MOTM depends on how Bresnan does in 2nd innings. He could go on to take 8 for and then it'd be hard to ignore him. There is still a part of me that hopes Sachin gets his 100 - the best batsman since Bradman and it won't really damage England if he got it now.

BTW, does anyone think Taylor could be in with a shout for Edgbaston if Trott doesn't make it. Personally I think they'll go for Bopara but I think Taylor's got a chance.
