But.. we need a really high quality striker and it may just happen.

I love Bobby but it an area we could improve massively.

    So happy tonight!!

I tend to agree with you on this banksy and if I can add a little more to the thought, I'm not so sure that Diedhiou is up to the task. However that's a decision for another day and meanwhile I'm going to soak it all up while I can. Enjoy one and all.

been saying it all season... we have 2 but chances are limited to prove themselves as injuries intervene

NOT HAD A CHANCE SO YOU CANT REALLY FORM AN OPINION
Maybe JOSE has a Tammy to SEE US THROUGH FROM January!

Agree! Bobby has been brilliant this season. If one of us would have said at the beginning he’d be in double figures by Christmas we would have laughed, but we need a proper striker, Reid will be sound in behind where Pato is playing now. Famara can’t come back soon enough, hopefully he’ll start where he left off as he was getting in amongst the goals. A new striker is needed though and after that performance last night I’m sure we can convince a top quality player to help our cause!

what we have to be careful of is losing "our plan" there could be quite a few strikers who see doom and gloom for them this season where they are and might just fancy a ride in on the crest of a successful wave .. and actually fail us for a lot of money!

To be fair our recruitment has been spot on , I trust that will continue , as they've earnt that trust, take your point though jgf , it's a fine balance, I do believe we need at least a couple of additions, & as importantly we need to keep together the group we already have. Thank god im not the manager , we've done well so far , but staying there and hopefully even getting into the top two will take a monumental effort.

If we do roll the dice on a new striker in Jan, let's hope we do a better job than we did last time we were in this position when we brought in - Dele Adebola..... Hopefully lessons learnt!!

Not everyone would agree, but I said it at the time and am still convinced, that was the beginning of GJ's downfall......Not that I thought Adebola was a bad player, but went against the style that we had at the time..........That type of striker should only be used as a last ditch option IMO..
