    Well, not so good news. It's a shame Villa have scored, but a 0-0 for QPR and Sunderland is a pretty decent result for us. Sunderland being dragged into the mire.

    Judging by the entries on CPL v Southampton seems a fair percentage of City fans agree with the oracle that is Lawro. This is quite interesting given our defensive performances against much stronger opposition recently (e.g Arsenal, Man U, Everton). This shows a healthy respect for Southampton's attacking capabilities and perhaps some concerns over the absence of Turner and possibly Ruddy.

    I think Turner may be more of a loss than Ruddy for this game - I think Bunn is a quite capable replacement for JR but Lambert is a handful and might be quite a test for young Ryan. Saints are good going forward with lots of attacking options and this will be a hard game for us even if Turner and Ruddy were playing.
