Absolutely abysmal against Liverpool. Apart from the goalkeeper who looks really very good, not a single player looked anywhere near PL class. Mudryk, Sterling, Casiedo, were shockingly bad, couldn't pass, couldn't beat a man, especially clueless at running running off the ball and giving a teammate someone to pass to. Mudryk in particular has no football intelligence. He's never gets into the right place, never makes the right move, can't make the simplest pass and hasn't a clue how to link his play to those around him. I can't believe we haven't put him up for sale, he's utterly hopeless. You need more than speed to play in the PL and he has zero except speed. All the team need a bit of mongrel in their game, not play like a bunch of lapdogs looking for someone else to carry them instead of standing on their own feet. Never seen a Chelsea side lose the ball so early, so easily and so often. Chilwell was up there with the worst, but they were all useless. Silva showed his lack of legs is now a problem.
I am definitely swinging towards those that think Pochettino is not the answer, his teams Chelsea have lacked flair, teamwork, understanding and positional play all season and not improved one jot.
Fernandez looks like he's had a bellyful of trying to get these logs moving ,and might soon be looking to move on himself. What Palmer was doing as a #9 is anyones' guess , he was ineffective until he moved out and Nkuku came on. He and Nkuku did show some class and intent , but they all need to do the same.
