Received the latest ’Fultime’ magazine today. In it, Shad Khan has a truly inspiring message for everyone, “the Club, and you, deserve the best”. Can you guess what he was alluding to? Okay, to save any angst he was talking about the ’Fultime’ magazine. In his three paragrah foreward our Chairman refers only to the magazine. Not a word about football past, present or future! Felix gets a slot, which not unreasonably because of publishing deadlines, is pretty much confined to his original press conference. However that does mean that the final proof wasn’t submitted until some time in February. Surely Mr Khan, with his belief in “communications”, could have made the effort and given us a Club message that is up-to-date, if not up-lifting PS The bulk of this issue is given over to past players (from Zoltan Gera to Joe Bacuzzi) and managers (from Micky Adams to Alec Stock) And a spread on Tommy Trinder. Great stuff for the afficionado.
