Numbers of patients treated in Yorkshireâs hospitals for conditions linked to obesity nearly doubled last year, latest figures reveal. There were 23,883 admissions to hospitals in the region with a primary or secondary diagnosis of obesity in 2010-11 â up 89 per cent on the previous 12 months. The increase is the biggest of any region in England and compares with a 49 per cent rise across the country. Another story regarding lardy northerners. Is it down to traditional eating & drinking habits of our northern cousins? Or do you just enjoy cake? The fattest man in Britain was from down south (London) so not all chubsters are ecky thump merchants by the way.
****...was thinking of moving back to yorkshire with our lass...not anymore..dont want her becoming a statistic
Was on about this with a mate this morning, how the **** do people get up to 25 or 30 stone? I'm 12 and a half stone by the way and eat sensibly and take plenty of exercise. Oh wait, that's probably the answer.
Lardy northern lads, take a tip from your Scottish neighbours: continue to enjoy your unhealthy, fatty diet, but maintain a slimline figure by developing a debilitating heroin habit. Another one of these next week.
