I have to say I enjoyed being at the KC this weekend more than I have for a few seasons - for one reason really, a great attacking game of football! How long is it since our midfield and strikeforce had shot after shot and worked the Ponpey keeper instead of trying to run the ball into the net. Waghorns "offside" goal, Koren strikes, Brady, Cairney and even Rosie having a go. Good solid defensive performance and Basso looking more the part. It's good to be a Tigers Fan isn't it? And - I'm even warming to Pearsons after match interviews - not the most entertaining and certainly no Phil Brown - but straight forward, no messing and honest. Can't wait to get Stewart and Brady on the pitch at the same time - I think Fryatt will come good soon as well. Him & Waghorn will be a great starting pairing, no disrespect to Mclean who has a role to play I'm sure as time goes on. Looking forward to Bristol on Saturday to get the result we should have ended last season with - we'll score 3 at Ashton Gate I believe - the Robins are about to be mauled. UTT
very interesting comments. i for one am glad city lost the unbeaten away record @ bristol last may as otherwise it would have been tws who took it from us. lord we praise you for small mercies. but i expect that 3-0 loss to be the motivation - if any is needed - for city to get another away day win. then its onto doncaster and fat boy fat parkin. dont forget your pies for that game big john.
He hasn't actually signed for them yet, but he's expected to sign tomorrow, so he's registered in time to play against Palace on Saturday(it's expected to be a one month loan).
