Saw him on train from Sheffield to London yesterday with another man clutching what looked like legal documentation (contract stuff etc). Also saw Leicester reps getting on at Leicester and shaking his hands. Sad but true.
I look inside myself and see my heart is black I see my red door and it has been painted black Maybe then Iâll fade away and not have to face the facts Itâs not easy facinâ up when your whole world is black
That whole scenario sounds ridiculous, they all got the train to London despite joining each others company in Leicester where they went on to sign documents. Then what did they all get the train home together
Seems on here he's more interested in bringing players in during the International break. http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2507159,00.html Can but wait and see.
Listening to him on Humberside, he was relieved that the first question was about the game but of course the Leicester question had to come and he was his usual off hand self but Burnsy did say to him "the supporters don't want you to leave" and just the way he reacted to that question made me think he is going, can't explain why but just got that feeling he thought we all hated him or something so does that mean he is daft enough to listen to the moaners and doom merchants. I really do not want him to leave cos for one thing I would be worried about if he would take any players with him, will be disappointed in him if he goes after what he has started here, I know it might be too much to ask but wouldn't it be great to have some loyalty in football. Incidentally one person told me that they think Barmby could take over from him but can't see that. Still hate listening to Nige on the radio though, he just sounds so bad tempered and I know you will say it is cos we lost but I think its just the way he is. Did anyone else hear the interview and what do you thing?
I get the Sheffield to St. Pancras regularly. Stops at Chesterfield, Derby, Long Eaton, East Mids Parkway, Loughborough and Leicester on it's way to St. Pancras. Mike's probably still talking **** though. I still firmly believe NP won't be interesting in coming back to Leicester, regardless of whether we make an approach or not.
At least 10 years. Go check the east midlands train site or national rail. I am usually on the morning trains down through the midlands. The ones that leave at about 27 minutes past the hour call at cfield, derby, loughborough, leicester on the way down to london. The ones at about 40 minutes past each hour call additionally at east mids park way and long eaton. I know what I saw. The other day when I was getting off up north Mandaric was behind me. The mad sod had to ask if we were arriving at sheffield or not.
Mike Burgess is banned from the Leicester board, so has taken to posting made-up things about Leicester. It's getting a bit tedious.
