So fi't abdy up to on the day. Not sure what I am doing yet. Maybe go round to the folks. Not really bothered. More looking forward to an Indian on New Year's Day.
Oh to ****. Nae luck. I despise my in-laws with a passion. That's gonna be a long week. You have my deepest sympathies.
Spending the day with my mum, brother, sister in law and nieces. It'll be all right as long as i steer clear of the red wine.
Out for a beach walk then pub meal Christmas Eve then light the firebox, get the kids to bed and drink some booze. Always do a Christmas breakfast; full hit of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, beans, black pudding and scrambled eggs with a bit of Champagne to get rid of/create anew the headache. Might be toned down this year though as we are doing the Christmas dinner which, if it involvers her 92 year old gran, is early. If she's not coming it's mid to late afternoon. Just had the kitchen done so it's a debut Christmas dinner. As you can see, I like Christmas. Boxing Day is football and the 27th is rugby, got tickets for both.
I'm doing that on St Stephen's Day - it was either that or going out for a meal with the family so chose the less humiliating and degrading choice of the two.
Christmas time. Judging from the responses thus far, it looks like that no religion is involved. I'm not entirely certain if you lot qualify for being called hypocrites. <I shall still pray for all of you>
An alternative could be that some are involving Religion in their day in some way but choose not to spout about it on an internet forum. Equally, those who are not religious could just be embracing it as a day to get together with family and friends to enjoy themselves. I'd be certain that they do not qualify for being called hypocrites. Thanks for playing though.
Just checked no oven just gas burners so no roast turkey this year Christmas lunch with my Mrs family . That means about 60 people round a **** off great round lazy susan table.
