http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ongest-expensive-trips-leading-Christmas.html Probably not the best time of the year to travel with the run up to Xmas and although the respective clubs have identified the cost of away support is becoming prohibitive for some supporters there's still a long way to go (no pun intended ) before the all away games are sold out .
Not forgetting the trip for some to St Gallen in Switzerland squeezed in amongst all the other aways over the next month or so
What's really pissed me off is that currently I have tickets for Fulham, Man City and Norwich in my possession. On Monday the tickets are out for Chelsea and Villa and I've got a Valencia home ticket too. It's ridiculous buying all these in advance and the finances are crippling me. I will very giving Chelsea a miss but not just because it's Christmas and family time I just can't afford it. It's £50 a ticket and the bottomless put has run dry.
Well I ain't a regular any more but I'm really looking forward to Fulham next week. Bit concerned about being in the neutral end though.
Yes Fulham is one of the friendliest grounds in the prem and their neutral end is usually occupied by foreign tourists or away fans who couldn't get in their own section.
Or drunk ladies Yes I know who you are but you don't know who I am Fulham is a friendly place, they're all posh
If im allowed a say. You will have no worries at Fulham KJ, The neutral end is really an extension of the away end and as others have said it is a very friendly place. Enjoy your day (hope you lose though )
Fulham and Aston Villa away this side of the new year for me ,what happens next year is in the hands of the bank manager ( wife ) , finances will be tighter but hopefully due to a fresh start work wise should keep the equilibrium as before.
Ticket prices are way over the top for any football match, they are killing the game for the average fan that only the ones with a few bob can afford it...(like me) ...no seriously its ridiculous.
