On that other place. http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/10345 Seems the posters are starting to rebel
Have you seen this comment by the admin. "The site is modded to our tastes and we have no plans to chill, we aim for a fairly strict level of moderation, that has always been our standpoint . Unfortunately the OF boards regularly within 30 or so comments descend into talk of who is 'most bigoted' or talk about religious discrimination, marches, ****philia etc. We will not tolerate that content on our site. We may not be the most appropriate site for everyones tastes and there are far more liberal sites out there . But this site is optional to use and by using it you agree to accept our modding activities and our standards of content acceptability." I think i will stay on here if they don't allow banter.
Unfortunately we also get the Medros coming over here with that ****e. Shame they don't allow it on Ja
Thats what happens when you have admins that do whatever they please whether its good for the community or not.
If the WUMs get banned from there where are they going to go? Chances are they've been banned from other sites so that only leaves here. Do you want 100 Medro's on here?
All you ****s appreciate me now? I do have a wee nosey over there every now and again, keep your friends close and all that. I have so far refrained from commenting too much on them but I had to laugh when I see they banned the word 'arse'
Their admin was absolutely spot on. Maybe their level of modding is too severe for some posters but, unlike the original 606, they're not getting paid to do it and their members aren't paying a licence fee which - in part - pays for the site. Basically boils down to 'If you don't like it, **** off'. Ha. Owned,
Yes, but this is a nice thread for people to feel superior about their choice of forum and demonstrate their bizarre brand loyalty.
No, it's a thread simply pointing out that a funny argument had broken out on another site. Some people read into things that simply aren't there. They're usually referred to as mental cases
