An interesting article which looks at the stats from this year and comparing them to previous years; http://www.just-football.com/2014/0..._campaign=Feed: Just-football (Just-Football) It appears that this year we are actually playing more like BR's Swansea looking at the stats. Lots of possession, no cutting edge, compared to less possession last year but more direct. Should make an interesting read for those calling for MLs head.
Don't blame BR for your lack of cutting edge, Liverpool are second only to the billion pound team of Man City for goals scored this season You need the manager to explain to his players that it's football, not a bleep test, and the point of beating the opponent to the byline is to put a ball into the box not turn around and run back where you came from
Yes lets blame Brendan who left us in good shape and give laudrup a pat on the back for sending us down to just 3 points from relegation...you ready... HIP HIP HOORAY...HIP HIP HOORAY.... Brilliant..
"You need the manager to explain to his players that it's football, not a bleep test, and the point of beating the opponent to the byline is to put a ball into the box not turn around and run back where you came from" Easy to say when you have a multimillion pound squad and strength in depth eh? We are on the bones of our ass and were missing 6 first teamers today, including 3 of our most creative players in Dyer, Michu and De Guzman. Such comments only serve to feed our resident troll.
how do you explain our first half performance Players missing my arse...I did not see Rooney or RVP today did you? Nothing but lame excuses after every game instead of looking at the real problem of lack of motivation and game play from your so called good manager.....Brendan is making him look a right armature manager and always will. Still give a a cheer eh...
The same Brendan that you didn't want at Swansea and you thought was a poor, non ambitious appointment. The same Brendan that you hoped would fail to prove that Huw had made a wrong appointment? Two faced non Swansea fan. It's all still available on the net for anybody to look back on the old BBC 606 site
Did you bother reading the article, or did you just wade in with your BR nonsense? The article says that stats this year show us to be playing more like BR's Swans than the cup winning team of last year! which was more direct. As far as our position goes, where do you expect us to be. Hull are in mid table safety....but guess what, they are only 2 points better off than us and are in 10th! This season is playing out the way it is. I still say we will be fine given we have a bunch of players coming back from injury and we will likely strengthen. We are stronger than most in the bottom half, and I'd still not rule out a top half finish. Get behind them for once you miserable bugger

If you expect Dai to not reply on this thread, the you should close the thread. The OP seems to be aimed at Dai and some others, so surely he should reply on the same thread and not on a different thread. I don't understand why Dai isn't allowed to say what he thinks about ML. Is this some kind of pro-ML forum where dissenting voices aren't allowed. I though all views were welcome.
