Annoyingly, I can't make this as I'm seeing another legend (albeit not a Fulham one) on that night. Front row tickets to see Richard Thompson playing an acoustic show in Poole. I know that some of the regulars on this board will appreciate what a treat that will be.

Beeswing is one of my favourite songs, Captain. Hope it's a great gig!

Might think about the evening at the cottage though, sounds like fun!

You'll be glad to hear RT played Beeswing, Surlyc, as one of the encores (and mighty fine it was too, obviously). Other highlights included Vincent Black Lightning, I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight, Turning of the Tide and a beautifully played Down Where the Drunkards Roll. The only downer was that the venue was a long way from being sold out, which means I'm unlikely to get to see him quite so close to home again.
