Following yesterday's capitulation, the Messiah failed to appear at the press conference until 8pm by which time most journalists had long since gone home. Rumours were that he had been invited into the board room for discussion with the Riddler and the rest of the board, though I have to make it clear that the Riddler is not on the board due to the fact he's been banned for 7 years for non payment on tax in some companies that he has happened to have been lumbered with. It was also rumoured that the owner of the club was also in attendance to see yesterday's effort(or lack of) Twitter was a buzz with information and it is said that GW has 3 games to save his job. The most important of those being the Football League Trophy game at the Ricoh on 10/1/2012 a possible trip to Wembley may give him a bit of breathing time. But does he deserve it, IMV the answer is NO. Personally would never have appointed him in the first place, yes he did a decent job at Stevenage however not for nothing were they called Cheatenage in non league circles. His disappearance from Farnborough 2 days after a massive pay day at Arsenal also stank of dubious behaviour. What have we seen in the time of his leadership, firstly have to give him the benefit of the doubt for last season although he managed to alienate all the playing staff that was at the club at the time, so much so that we got rid of them all apart from Hume, Wright, Daley and Stuckmann, although Hume is now on loan and Daley is training with the youth team. Wright he did release however brought him back and gave him a years contract. Yes, he made a mistake there didn't you Graham. Signings wise, some have been decent and some should never have been brought to the club, no names mentioned but I know who they are. This season, started pretty well, playing good attractive football however all that seems to have gone out of the window as we are now stuck to playing football in the robotic way that he wants to play. If we go ahead then that is fine, but sides now know defend in depth at Deepdale and catch us on the break if they score first we are shafted as happens yesterday. The away record is slightly better as sides have to attack us. He doesn't appear to have a Plan B, some would say he hasn't got a plan A. If we are struggling it's lob it long time. 6 home league wins in a calendar year is shocking. He does not keep the same side, players disappear from view and are not heard of for weeks, Chris Robertson for example, had a sterling game at Coventry has not played in the last three games, he's not injured, unexplainable why he has been left out. Graham Cummings can't get a game upfront, he's brought in a loan forward from Grimsby Town reserves. He picks his favourites, rumour has it that there is dressing room disharmony and you can understand why. Excuses, thousands of them, the pitch is too big at Deepdale, the fans put too much pressure on the team and yesterday blaming the two youngest members of the team for mistakes was criminal, bound to inspire them NOT He still lives in London travels daily, shows commitment to the cause, you can do a lot of scouting along the 2 hours rail journey. He's got rid of the reserve team, is not interested in the youth team which is laughable when we have a youngster who is banging in goals for fun. However it is Catch 22 if he left there is no one to take over running the team, the youth team also have a temporary manager after Alexander and Lucketti left for Fleetwood. As I said the Coventry game is crucial and this is dreadful I know but if we lost it, I wouldn't be that bothered because it would be goodbye Graham.
I think you have pointed out the negative points very well & they are substantial. The only thing I would ask is whether GW has been given a strict brief by TH & PR that is almost extremely difficult to carry out? There used to be a write on 606 tagged 'Thenextowner' who suggeested before TH bought all the shares that PNE should enter administration. He was against TH taking over. He was slated by others as the thought of PNEFC, the most historic football club in the world(?), should go into receivership was the end of civilization as we know it. I know nothing of the financing of these things & the possible consequences except that such a club is deducted 10 points! Also, it is impossible to roll back the years. But mabe since Baxi left, the club has been poorly managed at the top? If GW is sacked, the brief he received will still be there no matter who is appointed. Even Mr. Moyes would struggle.
