Minimum of 3 wins needed 4 would be nice. If we ain't careful, it will all be over too soon. I want Jimmy to stay until at least 10 into next season, but he may not get there. He can only have 1 or 2 games left, or do others think we will give him longer? It's all getting like an episode of tales of the unexpected.
No way, not even close. We have never been promotion contenders though as many on here have you believe.
Am I reading this right. You're suggesting that we sack him if we fail to win any of the first 10 matches.
No I would like to see us survive and Jimmy the summer to build. Then he should get 10 games next season. Just not sure TF won't pull the trigger very soon, can you predict Tony next move cause I'm f***** if I can. Either way on current form we are in the fight
Utterly nonsensical to even contemplate "sacking" JFH before this stage of next season (doesn't of course mean we won't!)...talking of "only having 1 or 2 games left" (for what???) is just ridiculous.
I've spelt it out twice, here goes for a third. I am contemplating what will happen if the current form continues. Points for discussion: Will Tony stick with him, even if it means we go down? How long do you think Tony will give him if things don't improve? Anymore explaining the bleeding obvious? no problem just ask. Just for the record I didn't want Jimmy but I have not called for his head have I? The intention is debating our current situation. Why are you here?
Just read that Gerry Francis didn't win until his 9th game as QPR manager. Can only imagine the outrage from tweeters and bloggers aimed at Richard Thompson back in 1991!
Fair enough. Do you think relegation is the best result we can expect from this squad and given the season tickets will 30% higher next season is this a sensible business plan? I fear for the future of the club if we get relegated, while TF converted a lot of debt to equity, the remainder of the debt (anywhere around 50million) could not be serviced from league 1, we would go bust. What action could or should be taken to prevent this from happening? or do we sit on our hands (while unable to feel our legs)
Check his first season record. It's a very rocky road in his first dozen or more matches. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991–92_Queens_Park_Rangers_F.C._season And guess what - a last minute equaliser in the first game. Wind forward two years and we were the pride of London!
I agree and know well, but he took over in the top division, not the one below. Still if Warnock isn't the answer the I guess Gerry isn't either, times gone by.
Hasselbaink will be a successful manager. Perhaps not with us. Even if we lost the next ten I'd want him to see out the season.
I'm surprised at the complacency on here by some. Take our first five games out of the equation and we have since taken 21 points from 21 games, that's relegation form. Under Jimmy we have 5 points from 7 games, definitely relegation form. As long as you sit back and say we're too good to go down it'll creep up on us and suck us under...
