For my birthday in January my wife got me tickets for the Man Utd game on Saturday. I am taking my little lad (6) for his first ever live football game. To ruin the 'lads' day out the wife got a ticket for herself as well. I wont be therefore able to make the Victory for a pre match drink but will probably be knocking around the club shop and then the fan zone. Would be good to meet/say hello to anyone on here. My wife will have her white cane (no puns please) with her for recognition purposes so come and say hello if you see us. (slight edit in that my little lad has a virus and was puking up last night. Anything to get out of seeing the lads)
Nice one mate, I hope you have a great time... well not that great, obviously I want you to get beat first and foremost! When your lad asks you in the car on the way home "When can we go and watch United again dad?" let me know
Unlike! The sad thing is is that the only player he knows playing is the granny lover. Things will have to change.
With the early kick off I will be in the Railway Club from eleven and then straight to the game...I hope you bring us luck and have a fantastic day..
Hope you all have a good family day out Drum. Mind there is a severe danger that in future your Mrs and lad just might leave you behind.
Because your boys have been soooo entertaining at home this season. "When can we go and watch United again dad? Best sleep I've had in years"
Bumped. Anyone use the Park & Ride at Enterprise Park on Wessington way. Is it good and reliable? Apparently parking at the ground is an obvious no no but apparently streets closer to the ground are all permit holders only. Any help appreciated.
Not too far fella as my wife has MS so mobility isn't great. If it was just me and my 6 year old lad we would have done a pub crawl through town!!
Sorry mate. Forgive my ignorance. Sometimes i have a habit of putting my ****ing gob where its unwarranted. What about the retail park on newcastle rd?
Don't be daft man. I will check that other retail park out. A lot of them now have private parking companies giving you maximum 2 hours stay and rubbish like that.
Great minds think alike, my wife got me tickets for my birthday so I am coming up this weekend Have a great day mate.
Or park that end of fulwell rd. Nip over the railbridge. Into retail park. Ground is reet there. Which direction you coming from?
Ok. Park and ride is ok. But guess you dont want the hassle. Leave a bit earlier. Anywhere near the old baths. 10 min walk. (Newcastle rd baths)
Have you not contacted the Washington Supporters Branch to see if they have any spare seats on their coach? There's also a coach leaves Chester Le Street every match day, so you could park up there and take the coach through?
