Just heard the wet sham manager on radio saying he asked ipswich if they wanted to play tonights game last saturday but they refused . Surely that would of made more sense , bigger crowd , not so cold and more importantly give jewell more time to sort out transfers with things drawing to a close . Plus more importantly if we somehow managed to beat them on saturday perhaps it would of given potential signings more reason to come here . thoughts ps all this crisis goin on and all clown clegg has been worried about is introducin a new home and away strip every season . wonder who will buy them

Perhaps Jewell is expecting us to get tonked and thought it best to play near the end of the window. He probably thought ' if we lose 6-0 nobody will sign for us '
