That the BBC are showing Salford City v Hartlepool live in the next round, how can they justify ignoring the other non league clubs who are in the second round, surely they would benefit from TV mony that Salford have, already received from the last round. It's only cause they are so far up the arses of the Class of 92 that they are totally obsessed with all things connected with Manure. I find this totally unpalatable.

I agree in the main. What I would add is that in the past the BBC have sometimes picked a non-league club and then followed them through the FA cup and followed whichever team knocks them out. Seems convenient (and unfair) that it always used to be a London team when the BBC was stationed in London and now they've decided Salford City.

    Lazy bastards...

It's just the way it is though, wait till the all prem ties sneak in. Smaller stature clubs can whistle. Remember the way Bradford were told to get ****ed for an all prem tie which was ****e. Doesn't surprise me one bit they've fond an early favorite to **** off and give preferential treatment to.

They're running a series about Salford FC on BBC you complete nugget. Of course they're going to push a game that will boost their own ratings.

Absolutely nothing to do with Manchester United.

What is a disgrace is that it's now called the Emirates FA Cup.

The oldest football cup competition in the world, the greatest domestic trophy ever and it's been sold out to the Arabs.

Nothing's sacred in the game anymore. Everything has a price.

Give it 3 years and the 'FA' part will be dropped from the name.

They'll show Salford because that's who people are interested in. Why would they show someone else?

So a documentary about Salford FC that is on BBC has nothing to do with Salford FC being picked by the BBC?

Do you even have schools in Cumbria or do you just all get brought up like farm animals?

Your not getting the point of this, thread, I'm saying the BBC should be sharing out the proceeds of tv money and not giving it to their faviourate project at the moment, Salford are supposed to be receiving sponsorship from some Asian benefactor and don't need the tv money, the other non league clubs do. This has nothing to do with their tv series and everything to do with the media's obsession with everything involving any of the supposed top four clubs.

Yes. Let's get rid of marketing, advertising, capitalism, become communist and share everything equally.

Ok then. Disprove me and prove your theory, rather than basing it on your own point of view, be objective.

I say TV ratings are important to mainstream TV channels, that's all I need.

    Go ahead.

    I think you're all wrong?

Don't they chose a game then follow the winner of that tie all the way through to the final?

The BBC aren't a charity mate. They pick the tie that will get most viewers, as they do for every single game. There is no other ulterior motive. Due to the Man U link, Salford will get tonnes of viewers and that's all it comes down to.

It's the same principle that prevents Sky from dropping premier league games and showing Northern League division 2 four times a week, but I haven't seen you complain about that?

I don't get why your being so defensive Terry, what is,wrong in wanting some of these minnows to get a fair share of Tv money rather than putting the same team on two rounds in a row. I'm pleased Hartlepool are getting a share of this money as they are not loaded with cash, I just think the media can't see beyond their favourites and the BBC should be better than they are.what this has to do with Tv ratings? Sky put out matches like Stoke v C. Palace which hardly qualify as a highly rated March but they still put these games on. If one man and his dog watches a televised match presentation the team's involved being paid.Sorry if I have dared to criticise anything Manchester r

You have no official connection to them but with Scholes, Butt, Neville, (beckham?) involved that link is always going to be there.
