My heart says we can take them to extra time and nick a goal to win it. But my head is still fearing a defeat. We played well last weekend, but I think Norwich created more opportunities, and with a little more luck for them, we probably would have been coming away from that tie 2-1 down. I very much hope to be proved wrong come Saturday afternoon, but I'm not expecting anything from this game. Still, it's been an amazing season, regardless of the result this weekend.

    2-0 Norwich.

I agree with all you've said Nuggets, and I'm in agreement with the outcome.
And it will only be an amazing season if the scum don't get promoted - I can't listen to their arrogant ramblings for another season.

Well I wouldn't say that I was arrogant, ok I do banter but don't we all. As I have stated on another thread, it could go either way it's a 90 minute Cup tie isn't it, I'm taking nothing for granted. Premier League clubs are knocked out of cup competitions by lower league clubs every season (yeah, yeah Luton Town yadda, yadda), so there is no underdog Saturday IMO. All I will say is that IF we play to our full potential, IF we don't make any stupid mistakes (Russ Martin's 'defensive' header which led to your goal in the 1st leg) and IF the referee doesn't make any howlers then I think we will win .........................................................

    .......................................... I think ? :emoticon-0107-sweat

I hope your prediction is not as accurate as the first leg.....

I think we will do you in 90. If not in 120. Don't fancy penalties though.

The Budgies should win with a squad that cost £30.9M, there is likely to be some serious fall-out if they don't get promoted. The figures are from todays EADT.

    They should, but they won't.
For some reason I feel that we are going to ruin their expected celebrations, and on their own patch to boot.

I hope you're right guv, It would a massive achievement if it happened. We all know how the crowd can turn at carrot road if they go behind, just look at the Middlesboro game, they were more concerned about bleating about players getting treatment and the ref, rather than encouraging their own team.

They certainly were rightly top 4 this season with the £££££ they've spent. Very talented squad. Lets be clear, if they'd had Neil all season they would have probably come top 2!

Based on transfer fees etc we have no right to be where we are, however I'm led to believe our wage bill is also top 8. Sure Murphy/Mings/McGoldrick/Berra for example may have cost sod all but they will be on some decent £££££.

I thought the first leg was very much 50-50. We struggled last 20 due to the better quality Norwich have on the ball, their ball retention and we may find the end of the game difficult again irrespective of score. I think extra time would be hell for us, we'd be dead on our feet.

Prediction? I have no idea. Surely it's our turn to take the lead, Norwich have taken the lead the past 14/15 derby games or so. Ridiculous sequence of them going ahead! Should they go ahead, I really feel Norwich will get the job done one way or other. That said, we've got great team spirit and have always kept going.

I'll plump for a 1-1 draw in 90 ( us taking the lead for a change ) and Norwich to sadly do us in E/T. They have quality to turn to if required, we lack this.

The pressure is all on the Yeller-greens, so Town can go in to the game relaxed and you never know, take any miss-shot, deflection, or anything else going that might just put us in to the final.:afro:

We can win this, but we need performances from every single player. Our defence must play as one, as a unit, no silly mistakes, our midfield tenacious, onto them in every tackle, not giving them the time or the space to control the mid. (It would help us if one or two of their players have an off-day too, but that's beyond our control.)

Sears and Murphs must (and I mean seriously must) be absolutely on it, they will probably only get one or two chances, even a half chance must be capitalized on and converted. Make no mistake, we will be up against it, but this can be done. Mick will have everyone of our boys primed for it, instructions given, to go out there and play the biggest 90 minutes of their careers, that's a certainty.

Every single player in a blue shirt must give 100% from KO to the final whistle, and it's still a big ask for us to win at the carrot patch...

But nevertheless, we can do this.

    This is bullshit .
How can you possibly say the pressure is on Norwich ?.
Win and you go to Wembley with a chance of £150m lose and you could be stuck here for another 13 years.
The rewards are huge but you lot need this more than us with our parachute payments .

Feels weird that one of us will have our season ended today.
I honestly don't think I will be too upset if it's us because we just had 3 seasons at the top table.
The defeat to Birmingham on pens was horrible .
