    I remember my dad getting me a MP3 player, never heard of the things at the time & didn't really understand what it did for about a year. Took me 2 years to work out how to get music on it ffs <doh>

    By the time that happened Ipods were out & held ****loads more music!! Must have used my MP3 player about 5 times!!

    Also went to a gig at the local CSC & bought some scarf that said "Aberdeen is the furthest you'll go" or something like that........we were effectively out of the competition the following week & Rangers went on to the UEFA final <doh> <laugh>

    Never worn that scarf since I bought it!!!

    My mate got one almost the day they stopped putting stuff on them <laugh>

    He got Phil Collins & thats about it!!!

    i think i had about 5 discs <doh>

    what a waste of money, it was about £150 or something, and that was a lot of money in them days <ok>

    The mrs got it out a few weeks back......we hadn't watched Che yet <doh> <laugh>

    She tried to get out of it by saying she thought The Motorcycle Diaries were the first one.............then it's be called Che or Che 1 not The Motorcycle Diaries you prick <ok>

    i was a ****ing student at the time so that was just about my annual income <laugh> i just wanted something that wouldnt skip whilst running and was smaller than a walkman. i shoulda gotten a ****ing ten quid walkman <doh>

    I was about 16/17 when they first started I think....by the time I'd save up for one they'd stopped making them <doh>

    Wonder if I'll be able to wear my scarf?

    No that would be floppy discs <ok>

    I had a mini disc player too on my stereo. funnily enough i just sold it there for £140. Not bad for a 10 year old stereo!
    ****ing love the stereo but **** me were those md's no pish. as lone ranger said no skip? aye right you are!!!!

    For recording soundbites for Radio minidiscs where great, i still have one although I don't work in Radio anymore.

  18. a mind this rich **** a new had a 'laser disc player' in his hoose. used to amaze me to see his da puttin a film on. was laser disc before DVD or was it just DVD without a name yet?
