What's the chances of seeing this boy rolled out for us again? The way I see it after his Liverpool performance I don't see him being used again, he was that bad, having been given a start and played pretty much the whole game, he offered absolutely nothing, and I'd even put money on him not getting anymore games, not premiership quality at all, and I would roll out Moore before Shechter any day of the week.

    Good job he's on loan!.....................<laugh>

Yea, I was thinking about it yesterday.
Laudrup wanted him, and followed him for some time. Same as Lamah.
And i'm sure Shechter is a good player...but he's not a Michu, or a Britton, or a Routledge, Rangel, Williams, Dyer, (Hernandez at times) Even monk.
He doesn't really have anything that makes him a great player.
    Whats his responsibility.
He could get on the end of a few crosses, but what else is he adding to the team...Good team spirit? Because I can't really see anything else.

Schechter is simply not a good striker. I didnt say player, just striker. His first touch is poor as is his second and third. He never looks remotely like he is about to get a goal anytime in the near future. I just hope that in may he returns to his club.

Just shows, that for the first time ML has made a mistake, that is on 2 counts firstly signing this donkey and secondly letting DG without having signed someone as cover.

He is total pants. He probably only played on Sunday because he couldn't train with the team when they were in Dubai and the staff felt bad. I can see no other reason for it. Should roll out Moore and then some youth product before this guy. Hell, I'd play any other player up top before him. I've seen nothing in him that says he's a good player. He's weak in nearly every aspect and his work-rate is so low the other players have to compensate. Will be happy to see him return to Kasierslauten

I'll also add that he continually gets caught offside. It's a pity that Danny opted out when he did because, with all due respect to Bradford, they are the type of team that I reckon Danny would have filled his boots against.

If Laudrup wants to play Michu in a deep role, I see Moore as the only alternative we have at the moment. I actually think that he might do well against the less accomplished defenders that he would be up against.

All this seems a tad disrespectful to Bradford but it is not intended to be. They are at Wembley on merit, will be absolutely up for the game and have the ammunition to exploit the well known weaknesses in our game. We are bad at the set piece; don't deal with high crosses very well; they are very fit; will hustle us all over the pitch and stick it in the mixer every chance they get. If they get a goal in front, we will have it all to do, make no mistake.

However, if we get two goals, I would expect us to go on and double it at least. They will have to pour forward and I don't think they will handle our fast counter attacking play. Let's hope that's how it will play out.

Avoiding wasting good money in january on a replacement for a second choice striker when instead one can save the money and get the player you really want 4 months later with a lot more value for money can hardly be considered a mistake. To the contrary it has shown to be a very astute piece of business both financially and football wise since DG is hardly missed and next season is pretty much secured. I'm very glad ML didn't waste any money in january.

Ramblin I do think that Graham dictated the situation to some large extent, and it was difficult then to bring someone in at the late stage, we have more than got our money back, though I think that £6 Million + would have been the true Value of Graham, but it's history know, not sure what options we have in our youth, though I know Lamah can play Striker, he does have the tenacity in the box, but I agree that we can see out the season, as long as Michu does not get injured!...........................<cheers>

Disagree there is a loan market and every position in the league is worth money. Now if michu gets injured we have 2 strikers wih exactly 0 goals between them. I want to finish as high as we can, not just hang on till next year and hope we qualify for europe. As i say i didnt advocate spending masses on a striker, but loan cover should have been sorted.

Itay is finding it difficult in the way we play and its a shame as occasionally he does show he can play a bit. I think he needs more time than most players and we should persevere and see if the lad can come good for next season....I dont think he should play first team football again this season and learn playing for the reserves. I hope he comes good but if he dont then we will have given him a chance and he cant complain about that if we have to ship him out....

it has to be moore as itay is too much of a risk. I would rather recall lita than itay as he is scoring for fun at the moment and playing well....
