This is starting to be a TOO regular occurence, unfortunately this time the lad didnt make it, a damn shame. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17714715 Ex-Italy under-21 footballer Piermario Morosini has died following a suspected heart attack on the pitch, football officials say. The midfielder was playing for Livorno in the Serie B match at Pescara when he fell to the ground in the 31st minute. A defibrillator was used and Morosini, 25, was taken to hospital. The game was called off with other players in tears. Last month Bolton's Fabrice Muamba was technically "dead" for 78 minutes after collapsing in an FA Cup tie. The 24-year-old England player is now making "strong and steady improvements". Morosini had been on loan to Livorno from the Serie A club Udinese. He collapsed face down and appeared to be in convulsion. The referee's assistant drew the referee's attention and he stopped the game. The footballer was taken to Pescara's Santo Spirito hospital by ambulance, where he died.
In other news.. Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb is believed to be fighting for his life in a coma with his family at his bedside. The 62-year-old star has been battling colon and liver cancer and was in remission but he has now developed pneumonia. He is reportedly being treated at a private hospital in Chelsea, west London, where his wife Dwina, brother Barry and three children are keeping a vigil. And i do belive it's 100 years ago today the Titanic hit that piece of ice, and sinks tomorrow.
So sad to see a young lad with his whole life in front of him gone. My thoughts are with his parents. RIP.
