After the troubles at football grounds over the years at Bradford, Sheffield Wednesday and many more on foreign shores i don't think it is muppets. Is it really that bad that they don't want a similar thing to happen again? Looking back now those crowds where only asking for trouble so i don't blame anyone for the extra security. Not that i am against safe standing but that has not killed football crowds at all.
Fair point, I still remember those cretins on Bunkers Hill (South stand at BP) who thought it was funny to push the person in front of them and cause them to fall forward into the person in front of them and cause a chain reaction as Bunkers was usually packed in those days.
