There are no games here that are easy to play And wins are always hard to claim, Against any side either home or away And Blackburn will be just the same Bottom they may be and all out of sorts But that type can spring a surprise, And despite their wins away, currently nought They may see this one as a prize We can hardly call it a banana skin As there are no weak sides up here, But this game could be equally as hard to win As against those who we´ve most to fear But I´m sure PL has impressed on the team How important home form can be, Especially as the pressure must be on Kean To pick up points, and suddenly And although our lads are no doubt flying high Still buzzing from their Anfield day, If their feet are grounded, we ought to espy Three points at the end of the fray I´m not sure if Blackburn´s successful midweek Will make the task easier or not, The extra game time could have made some legs creak But the four goals will have helped a lot I think though if we start as we did last time We trod out on our hallowed ground, It could give them too big a mountain to climb As even those from Swansea found So it won´t be a stroll, to roll over Rovers As some might expect us to do, But I hope our lads will send us home in clover With a win by the odd goal or two. The most important thing in this type of game is not to lose the so called six pointer. A draw would be ok
Brilliant as always RBF, on current form we should have enough to beat Blackburn, but Blackburn need to turn there form around quickly & will make this a really hard game for us. So yes they will make it tough for us - there is NO easy games in this league.
I think Blackburn are really dangerous just now. Their form HAS to change at some point, lets just hope it is AFTER Saturday... They certainly have the players to do far better than they have so far.
Tricky match, i certainly won t be all doom and gloom if we fail to beat them but i think we will scrape this one 2 1 after going behind
good stuff (as always) rbf i got to watch some of the blackburn spurs game last weekend. i was very impressed with the hosts and fear this is going to be a bit like the doncaster match last season, thinking we just have to turn up to beat the 'team in crisis' - i just hope most of our fans are not as blasé as they were before and during that game! they are a good side and have some dangerous players. they should have beaten tottenham. we should have enough to beat them but we really need to be on top of our game to do so.
Hi RBF - love the poetry as usual, and as I said elsewhere, this is a worrying game as all the previous posters have said, Blackburn are no pushover! I think PL will be aware of the pitfalls and have the boys ready to rumble! I'll stick with my 3 - 1 prediction
It may well not be a stroll and I will also guess the match day thread will not have many Blackburn visitors Oh well, will prevent any potential buns fights
