On the way to work this morning i heard the score. Heard nothing else all day. Mobile was left at home, thank god. All day i was hoping that paddy had been sent off in the first minute along with at least two others. Turn on the computer and whats happened. 6-0 to fulham...no one sent off...tarbs packing a sad...barton spouting off... why did we sign him...still dont think he is a team player...**** it now we are behind swansea and norwich... what the **** is going on... still i think i predicted dempsey would score so i might get a point in rollers prediction league
Waiting to post after watching MOTD as away on hols. Seems that defence was a shambles, though Fitz did execute a nice bicycle kick, goal line clearance. Notable that throughout the MOTD commentary during play, Adel was not mentioned once. Fine pass at end from Faurlin to Mackie who took it very well and might have been on target. Not utterly despondent but does make the Blackburn game rather important to win. Swansea looking far too good for my liking! Warnock seemed to 'blame' the lack of quality defenders and was relishing having everyone back for th 15th.
Apart from the sun and pals,it was a bit of a horror show. It just shoes that when we miss a few of our better players,we seem to look very average. Back four lost,Midfield lost,SWP on wrong side,Boothy isolated,flimsy and needs DJ alongside,whats with this lone striker rubbish?..One striker puts no real pressure on classy defenders in the prem...we need goals!!. Why did Anton keep cliping over the top whenever he had the ball at his feet...and to SWP who is about 3ft 2!. Ok,we didnt show up,but we got taught a lesson and Fulham looked good. we do a 3 or 4 good players,but you could just see the strenght in depth of the Fulham team and they had about 9 quality players. Anyway,need a response from the team and neil and maybe with a few players back we can find our shape again. Please play DJ/Boothy or DJ/Helgs...especially at home!
nothing to say it was an embarrassing performance you could have subbed anyone of 11 at h/t, spending 50quid to watch that rubbish couldn't believe that was the same team, defence or should say what defence wasn't at the races, only good bit to come out of that was seeing mackie come on, brilliant support from Rs fans & out shouted fulham but thats all we won. and when we get injuries & suspensions like yesterday we are going to be in almighty trouble if they can't cope with fulham & no disrepect to them.
Our squad is very thin on the ground!! As soon as we have people missing, especially defenders, we look very poor. A back four of Orr, Hall, Ferdy and Young (out of position) was always going to struggle against a very good front three!! Watched the highlights and we were simply dreadful. Hall and Orr are simply not good enough for the prem. NW must take a lot of the blame for our defensive problems. Hill should never have gone on loan and Gorrkks should never have been sold!! I don't want to over-react, but I am really quite concerned about our defence and its lack of cover!!

Listening to NW after the match can't help but think he's trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Yes, we lack depth but we only had two players out FFS! And one of them is gabbidon - as good as he's been for us this season, he's not exactly going to be the rock in our defence. We're 7 games in to the season and he's already moaning about injuries and suspensions and the need for a fully fit squad??? What happens when we get to Xmas and half the team is out? Can we forfeit just to protect our goal difference? You don't get tonked 6-0 with just two players out and the rest having 'a bad day at the office'. 6-0 doesn't happen unless you're up against man u, man c or chelsea. Fulham were winless before they played us....****!!! (apologies for the rant, as you can tell I'm really struggling to get over this)
