God reading the threads tonight it is bizzarre that people can't accept a draw in good grace and move on. That said some of the posts have reached new straw clutching abilities as never seen before.

Only one team was going to win the game at 90 minutes with 10 men playing the greatest team ever who were sprinkeled with world class players in every department.

Ba and Cisse - I was worried abou them before the game, after the game I have to ask was Cisse playing? Ba did get a couple of chances but hello penalty!

Caybeye and Tiote, best central midfield pairing in the premier league - not today!

Now Santon I thought looked good yet he was subbed?

Ben arfa did show Richardson up and will give notice to O'Niell that a real left back is needed.

AmeobI, I feel so sorry for the lad, he deserves so much better than the fickle toon fans who slate him all the time. He knows the next time he takes to the field he will no b doubt be booed by the geordie faithfully who constantly slate and berate him despite him saving the mags blushes! I did think Shola came across very well in his interview at the end of the game. Thoroughly nice chap. I would hope we pay ten million in the summer for him and let him rot for the rest of his career.

Ryan Taylor is he really a winger?
Colo and Williamson - it was dissapointing that we went down to 10 men as we seemed to have weathered newcastle best efforts and were getting on top before the sending off.

Krul, I'd love him as the Sunderland Keeper to be honest, can command his box and a good shot stopper had a good game today.

For us I thought Mcclean was well below par, but first derby for a young lad. Bendtner fortunately had one of his better performances. Did what Ba could not. Larrson seemed out of sorts but heard he was ill again before the game like he was for city. Gardner and catts were better than the newcastle central midfielders MY OPINION!

The defence did well. I really couldn't see Newcastle scoring and I thought in real time there goal was offside, seeing it back though I think Shola was onside. I felt sorry for Richardson as ESPN seemed to blame him for not marking even though he'd been subbed 10 minutes before the goal!

The referee. NEWSFLASH for Newcastle fans, just because a referee doesn't give you a free kick or pen everytime a player of yours dives doesn't make him a bad referee. I thought the ref had a good game and got all the big decisions right including the sending off of Sess'.

To sum up. No matter what the Mags say they know they have got out of jail with a 1-1 draw against 10 man Sunderland. After the 90 minutes were up only one side was going to win and that was us. Yes I'm dissapointed we couldn't hold on especially after the pen miss but I can't be too downhearted that the mags snatched a late goal, after we went down to 10 men we were under the cosh.

    Overall a draw - a fair result.

Pardew however has shown himself to be a complete clown, I believe NEWCASTLE should be investigated with the comments of their management TEAM going to see the ref at half time. You could see at the end of the first half immediately the ref went to leave the field thier management surrounded him.

So onto the dark arts of the game - Basically Sunderland are Jedis and Newcastle are the sith to use Star Wars as a reference.
Newcastle are built in the image of PARDEW, evil, cheating. vile villainy and scum and we are great!

I could not be more unbiased if I tried!

    Fair one mate....

If offered a draw before hand, i would have taken it....

But, what i make of it is..........the ref kinda spoilt it for both teams...

They both wanted to go for it, like an old fashioned match, but are unable to do so now as it's turned a soft game...

Shame really..........still enjoyed it, but a more lenient ref....and it could have been a cracker.

You forgot to mention that we absolutely battered you for the entire second half and we were unlucky not to win the game in the dying seconds.

Cattermole is a complete thug and should be plying his trade in a sunday pub team, the guy is a complete dickhead with no skill and should have walked within 30 seconds of the kickoff with a two footed tackle from behind.

All in all I'll take 4 points, same as last season, just hoping we can make use of our 10 point advantage over you and stay well ahead in the league, as we have done all season and maybe sneak into Europa.

Not bad for a team who were in the championship only two seasons ago. You can shove your second season syndrome right up your inbred arses.

Cattermole dominated the midfield battle todayIMO. Cabaye was quiet and tiote showed us all that's he's not as hard as you made out.

I'm sure you won't agree, but thats my opinion.
