See Lineker has said how England's tactics have "taken a step back to the dark ages". Surely not? Not under Roy Hodgson who so many were claiming to be an excellent manager with vast experience having managed in Sweden and an unsuccessful spell at Inter Milan? Not the same Hodgson who us Liverpool fans should have kept faith with because his style of football would be so much better than Kenny or Rodgers has managed to produce?

Seems others are now starting to work out that he can set up a team that is hard to beat, but doesn't know what to do when his team are favourites for a match and he needs to find a way to break down stubborn defensive teams
