I read the other day that Newport only have 4 contracted players at the moment. The arrival of DJ springs to mind. Nearly as bad as Blackpool last season. Here is an opportunity for some City youngsters to get some game time on loan, though to Hilts' point, not sure what level of coaching they'd get.......
Yep, Butcher's gone in with a new broom sweeps clean philosophy and got rid of some very well liked, committed players. A couple of promising youngsters have been signed on pro terms in addition to the 4 retained. Going to be an interesting summer at Rodney Parade. Perhaps Osman has already been scouting new signings?
