A four-year-old boy who was found injured in the street is believed to have been stabbed, police have said. The youngster, who has not been named, was rushed to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham after he was found with serious injuries in Frederick Street, Mansfield, at about 1.30pm yesterday. The boy's parents have been with him at the hospital, where he is conscious and stable. A 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and will be questioned by officers, a spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said. He added: "We believe this is an isolated incident and we do not think any other parties are involved. We will be interviewing the man in custody later today. "Specialist support is being provided for the boy and his family, while house-to-house inquiries and a full forensic examination of a property in Frederick Street will be carried out today."
give the kids dad and his mates ten minute's alone in a room with the accused, and let them kick the sh**t out of him
You ever fought a 4 year old? They bite, scratch and poke eyes It puts me right off the long walk to the basement
Perhaps then the father could use his own time in gaol to contemplate why the **** his 4 year old was out in the street unattended.
That kind of logic always baffles me. So not only does the kid have to recover from the trauma of being stabbed, the only time he gets to see his dad for the next 10-15 years is in a prison visiting room
Why a 4 year old would be in a position to be assaulted in the street. Where exactly were his parents?
Look up the street on google maps. Lots of alleys and lanes leading out main roads n' ****. It is a heavy price to pay for **** parenting.
Although I know were Rebel is coming from I would kill the bastard who put his hands near my son. When my boy was in P3 he was giving a wee girl on his school bus a bit of grief, out of order. Her Da, instead of coming to me, took it upon himself to get on the school bus one morning and threaten my son that he would 'knock his bollocks in' if he didn't knock it on the head. The boy was 7. Heart scared. My brother got there before me and punched the head off the ****.
