Adam Morgan scored twice as Liverpool U18s thumped Wolves 4-0. Mike Marsh's side produced a tremendous performance in the Black Country and got back to winning ways after last weekend's 2-2 draw with Barnsley. Academy hot-shot Morgan as in top form as he produced two clinical finishes and Kristoffer Peterson and Jordan Lussey were also on the mark. Marsh told Liverpoolfc.tv: "The lads were excellent and played some great football. We took our goals really well and could have had a lot more." So that's two wins today against Wolves! Nice to see the Under 18's getting a good win and it's good to see Morgan getting two of the goals. I have high hopes for Morgan so hopefully he can keep progressing.
He's playing between the under 18s and the reserves. If he keeps his standards up to a high level in the reserves, he may have a chance of progressing to the top and not be another Lauri Delle Valle or a Kristian Nemeth or a Neil Mellor and be more of a Robbie ''God'' Fowler. Its great that we've got such potential in our ranks in Sterling, Coady, Morgan and Wisdom. I also like the look of Kristian Adorjan.
