Headlines At long last we can announce the takeover of Leeds Utd is now complete. We apologise for the length of time the deal took to complete, but there were a number of issues that needed resolving, we will go into more details in the coming weeks, but the most important thing right now is to let you the fans know what we intend to do. 1) Firstly and most importantly, we will be sitting down with Neil to draft a list of players that he wants to bring in, to ensure we are promoted this season. 2) Neil will have enough funds in January to ensure success. 3) Neil will have enough funds in the summer to ensure we are able to compete next season in the premiership. 4) Whilst we start the ball rolling with the manager, there is work nearing completion in the background to purchase Elland Road. 5) We have already purchased Thorp Arch, and the builders will be on site shortly to refurbish the accommodation block, education block and medical block. A recruitment programme will commence to enrol top quality local youngsters into the academy on a boarding basis. 6) Our academy will be going for A1 approval which should see Leeds Utd Academy competing in the new European league. 7) The new board of directors has decided to reduce match day tickets for the remainder of the season, as we want to fill the ground again. 8) Next season all existing season ticket holders will be invoiced £100 because of their support, and all new season ticket applications will be charged £200 9) From next season all juniors who are accompanied by an adult will be charged £1 10) A new 20 ft high statue depicting Ken Bates in handcuffs will be commissioned, and will be located in the main traffic island underneath the M621 near to the ground.
