The Chairboys welcome back Cambridge United to Adams Park for the first time in nine seasons and will be looking to continue their impressive form with a fifth of the season already over we sit third in the table on 18pts out of a possible 27.
The two university city’s of Cambridge and Oxford have a lot in common rivers, tax dodging students and names and nicknames of their football teams, United or the Us (you would have thought with being blessed with all that grey matter they could think of something more original) and City with City being the permanent non league dwellers, while United or the Us just drop in from time to time.
With the exception of Gary Doherty Gaz has a fully fit squad to choose from I do not expect many changes, apart from Paris returning to the starting line up. I will be at AP for this hoping to make it a triple celebration, today I became a step grandfather for the second time, this one a boy weighing in at 9lbs 9oz and Saturday being my wedding anniversary<ok>

Ryan Bird the ex Burnham striker plays for Cambridge now and i wished we'd have signed him after he scored around 45 goals in his last season for my home village team, struggled at Pompey as he wasn't started but Cambridge fans love him, just hope he doesn't score against us. Think this will be tight with Wycombe winning 1-0 or 2-1.

McClure starts up front with Hayes,if he misses another sitter like he did at Portsmouth last week i imagine he'll be on the bench for the Northampton game.We need a striker on loan and now that Rowe has gone back to Rotherham today maybe the money is there for Ainsworth to find one.

I've had a busy few day but here is my thoughts on the game
This was one we would have lost last term not a good game to watch alot of hoof by Cambridge but we seem well equiped to deal with that this season there was only going to be one goal in it and we got it they only had a plan A and even giving away two silly corners in injury time couldn't help them 21pts in the bag after 10 games happy days:emoticon-0102-bigsm
