I make it the same as last season. Any 2 of 8 could make the top 2 & any 6 of 12 could make the top 6... if you catch my drift. So it all means it going to be a really up & down season again, just like last season. I just hope we get our DEF right & we have a consistant season & our FOR´s are in top form. Any news/rumours on pos transfers yet ? I hate this time of the year. Roll on the 3rd of Aug. "UTF"
Just over a week left and then things will start to liven up Pre season starts which means player return from hoildays and will then see the transfer window kick in
And I reserve the right to rub it right in your face and give you plenty of stick when he takes us up
Amen to that mitch, hope you do ... but I too remain unconvinced but also more than happy to be proved wrong.
Reading, QPR, Wigan, Leeds, Bolton & Blackburn I fancy as the top 6, there'll always be a surprise team though and that could be Derby. Forest and Brighton may mix in there, Charlton, Bournemouth a good bet as well. He'll I ain't got a clue but unless we get certain players out and get goal scorers in then I don't see us progressing, unless NP has a plan B for this season!
We have a very good team already. Yes we do need to add depth but what we have already is more then good enough to amount a challenge Hopefully Ben Marshall turns up this season and if he does he will be like a new signing
The league will be harder to get out of this season. Go into it with the same team and the same manager, then you'll have exactly the same outcome(at best).
I wouldn't do the same ..your entitled to you opinion.. (that's what this forum is for) that kind of thing is beneath me
They say that every year. Look the the teams that come down last season Wolves got relegated, Blackburn was a laughing stock and if it wasnt for their new 8M striker they would have went down. Bolton was struggling for 2/3 of the season. If QPR can revamp the squad a little and they get the right mentality they will storm the league. Reading was never good enough for the prem but they have a very capable squad in this league. Wigan will lack the firepower unless they sign some decent strikers. They will struggle to hold onto McCarthy, Maloney and McManaman Of the teams that didnt go up. No one has a clue what Watford will look like come August. Brighton might have self destructed with the Poyet situation along with poogate. We looked very good until we hit the slump. A few new signings and who knows where that might take us. You will even admit yourself Nigel is very good when it comes to recruitment (Steve Walsh plays a major part in it) Then last season's chasing pack Forest put a little run together at the end but they rivalled Blackburn for the biggest laughing stock Bolton will be up there unless they keep signing our duds like Matt Mills and now Jermaine Beckford No one elses really stands out at this minute as challengers for next season
Yes, didn't you know? Every season, every single Leicester fan without exception expects us to walk the league
Some good points - but this one could come back to haunt ... Beckford is more than capable of getting 20 goals + in this division under the 'right' manager - and if he stays fit (and motivated) - IMHO he could actually fire a good Bolton side into one of the automatic spots ... I still don't think he is a premiership striker mind ...
He might bag 20 but he costs the team goals aswell Take Jamie Vardy. He scored 5 last season but he probably created another 5 purely from his hardwork
I don't think it can be denied that Mr. Pearson's attitude / personality/ management of players, etc.. has had an adverse effect on some players he or others brought in.... this is a fundamental flaw in his management... IMHO... its always everybody else's fault but his...
