Isn't it scary that our best player isn't ours

Danny Rose has been the best player for us this season and he's isnt even ours. This indicates that we are falling way short of premiership quality and things need to change.

    January can't come soon enough.

Have you not watched Cattermole play?

Danny Rose has been our second best player mate after Catts

Catts, Fletcher, Mignolet (one gaff amongst 20 odd world class saves) and imo, JOS (at centre back) have all been excellent and especially the keeper and the striker.

Don’t let’s start putting the whole thing down when it’s not necessary lads?

Have to agree mate - my bad!! Just went into autopilot about Cattermole and never thought about the rest!!
Mig has been awesome this season - Catts has been (IMO) our best player - we miss so much when he doesn't play and he left a big hole in our midfield when he came off on Saturday.

I think Rose, Mignolet, Fletcher and O'Shea have all been pretty good (I think we are in a minority on O'Shea like!!)

Like to buy Rose, as he doesn't half put in a shift. Levy will be taking note, however, and putting the price up...

I've just emailed him a link to this thread. That should do it.

It's just a pity we haven't seen more of Catts - I think we'd be looking at a better position in the table. Having said that, we shouldn't be relying on him to give us that drive to succeed

I can see Rose joining you lot permanently, if he's getting regular games and playing well then he'd be stupid to come back and sit on our bench, he'll never get ahead of Ekotto so joining a very good club that can offer him games is perfect for him - was very surprised you lot went in for him, thought he'd have gone to a Championship or newly promoted team. Won't be too expensive either, probably looking at £4m-£5m I'd say - maybe chuck an extra £2m-£3m on top though as he's English <laugh>

    For me its:

Mig - 'saved' us more points than I care to think about and easily forgiven for the WBA clanger
Catts - looks like he is on the verge of fulfilling his potential and it's easy to see how much we miss him when he's not there. Still see him verging on red mist at times which is a bit worrying. He needs to learn how to complain to refs without screaming at them.
Rose - has looked class everytime he has played
Fletch - great goals tally ( though got to say when Bendy was going in to wide positions last season he got slated for it, funny Fletch gets away with it at the minute <whistle> )

Back to the OPs point - with my glass half full I see this as a great positive; we have the ability to spot and attract a player of Danny's quality. Hopefully we will get him signed as an early christmas present <ok>

Doh! We'll have to go for a January sale then. Not that Levy will let him away on the cheep.
