This time last season Sunderland were a side struggling, O'Neill came in was brave gave a young Irish kid a break and it seemed on the back of that Sunderland's season took off.

Fast forward to this season and Mon and Sunderland are struggling, a young lad, better known was thrown into the fray and changed the completion of the game.

Will O'Neill be brave again and keep this lad in the first teAm?

Now I know things havn't worked out for Jimmy but he can come good again. He's been found out a bit and you can see he's working on his game. May take time.

We are plagued with injuries and have few options. Wickham seems to be the catalyst we need to rejuvenate the team.

    Just my opinion.

That's just what I thought when Wickham came on. Things just started to work better.

How does a pairing of Fletcher and Wickham sound, especially with AJ and Sess on the wings.

Still think Sunday was Jimmy's best game for us this season - I know there isn't much competition on that front but he kept the ball much better (and, IMO, was better than AJ on the day).

Johnson is scared to get hurt in a challenge - in our position we cannot afford this - if things are going well then I think he will be an asset for us - but we have to play well - I actually think playing against a footballing side like this weekend may be a good thing for Johnson and it may work.

Wickham has to start after his second half performance against Norwich - held the ball up better than Fletcher does so for me he'd be the "target" and Fletcher would be the one running off as I think he reads the game well!!

No Wickham is not the next Jimmy. He is way way better and his performance against Norwich was no fluke. Turned in performances regularly like that for Ipswich. Admittedly a lower league but if he gets games he will fulfill the potential we paid £8 mil for.

    Thats what I think anyhow.

AJ reminded me of Hendo on Sunday. Soft as sh*te. We need people willing to give 100% for the cause and if that means getting hurt in a challenge so be it.
Paid about £9 mil to much on AJ on performances so far. He needs to learn its not all about him and to release the ball at the appropriate time. Think Mancini kidded us.
