An Arsenal mate of mine has got me a ticket for their trip to the Reebok in a few weeks in the away end. NUFC aren't playing until the day after (against Blackburn, which I'll probably attend) so I didn't see why not.

Is this weird? Has anyone else been to any random games like that? Should be interesting.

I'm a Saints fan and have seen Villa play at their ground 4 times and have seen Brum play at home once so I do not see it as weird. I've also sat in the away end of Plymouth with Norwich fans and had a cracking time.

Just enjoy yourself and be open to who you support. You'll get a lot of banter but if you're supporting Arshol on the day then they will all love you.

I have been to see Plymouth at Middlesbrough, Hartlepool and Carlisle. Sat with the Plymouth fans each time, brilliant craic. They won 1-0 at Middlesbrough as well, even better.

Plymouth fans were great when they came up here too, and when we played down there.

By the way, got my ticket for Fulham in the post today.

I usually try and get to as many games as I can, if the tickets are available and I can afford it. I go and watch one of the Sheffield teams if I can't get to the Toon game.

Only been in an away end a couple of times though, went to Leeds V Arsenal in the away end last season and did the same when Reading played against Sheff United last season (mates were Arsenal and Reading fans). I returned the favour and made them come to Stoke when we got smashed to bits last season.

It's actually more enjoyable than watching Newcastle because you aren't so stressed out by every little touch!

Not weird. When I was at the Stoke match in October someone was behind me with a Man City fan - think we surprised him with the quality of our play.

I've been to watch Villa and Wolves in the past play random games, also been to watch Norwich City a couple of times.

I've been to quite a few games at St James' Park, often go in with my Geordie mates for the craic. If you enjoy football why not? It's a good day out.

Ah I'm looking forward to it now. Just going to be odd not singing songs and stuff haha. The lack of stress is definitely a bonus though.

Can you stay where you are for the next 30 minutes?

I've just had you sectioned under the Mental Health Act for your strange behaviour and the lads are stuck in traffic with your new white restraining coat.

I've been to see Fulham play a few times as it's just up the road from me as well as Crystal Palace a couple of times. When I was in Brussels I'd travel round Belgium, Holland, Germany and Northern France to watch random teams.

Not weird at all, i bleed black and white only thing to rival it is my love of the sport, if you can get to a game and have nothing better to do then go for it, ive done it all over the years even had a man citys shirt (before they used the money cheat codes from gamesmaster) i liked the shirt so i got it, i got a prem season hull city shirt too, was massive for my city brought everyone together for once, but yeah nothing wrong with exploring football beyond the toon, unless its toward subderland

I go to quite a few York City games. I don't get quite so involved and my day does not disintegrate into **** if they lose but I do enjoy myself.

Been to many neutral games, seen Cardiff play Leyton Orient, Brighton play Southend, Notts Forest play Southampton (friendly 2001) and Reading play at Southampton (friendly 2010).

Went and watched roma v bologna when I was in rome 2002, unfortunatley totti had been injured in a midweek friendly with england, other than that it's only been newcastle or northern league games for me

I once went to a Bristol Rovers vs Bristol City derby game about 20 years ago when I was 10.
It was a weird School trip (even tho I went to School in Newcastle). We also went to a Museum.haha

I watched Arsenal - Man City in 2010 and Arsenal - CSKA Moscow in 2009 with my arsenal supporting friend.

Shame they were both goalless draws <laugh>
