If, as is widely being predicted, Nicky Barmby takes an assistant manager role, will that mean a space on the playing staff budget for a replacement of similar quality? Is everything below Joyce and Barmby simply subject to the 'bootroom' philosophy moving Watkiss and perhaps Manny into higher profile roles? Will Joycey have his own disciples to bring in?
