warky, being realistic, we face exactly the same challenge as about 12 others each year. the sole aim is to preserve premier league status. you aren't telling us anything groundbreaking or anything we wouldn't already know! it will be the same year on, year out for as long as we stay in the division. even clubs like everton go in to each season to make sure they stay up first and foremost - then push on. check out moyes once they get to 40 points each year - he always mentions it! its slightly sad thats its come to this but thats what sky has done to the game. the best any club of norwich's stature can hope for is survival and maybe trying to get a cup or european football. until the bubble bursts and all that...

Couldn't agree more. I said 10 years ago that there were 3 divisions within the Prem. Our best hope is to hang onto the bottom of that second tier which includes Everton, Fulham, Stoke and Liverpool. Underneath that and you are one of 10 who are hoping to stay in the division without taking a risk and splashing out on real big names.
We will go down again. How long that takes relies on our own astuteness and others ineptitude.

Like I said Supers I wasn't being controversal <ok> We finished 5th qualified for Europe and everything was rosy in the garden! We haven't recovered since!

The difference is that Ipswich bought a load of overpaid and average journeymen after their first season whereas Norwich will buy better younger and hungrier players this summer.

Good to see Cameron sweating in the commons today .
