I´m still hoping for 40 pts plus. If we do that then a top half finish would be nice. If we look like we´ll do the then I´ll start saying "maybe we´ve got a chance to get into the europe lge". but as for putting us up on that thing with the likes of Man City, Arsenal &, dare I say it, Manc Poo on it is getting abit silly. I´d go as far as saying Liverpool, Spurs & Chelsea won´t win it either.
No its not for real because Jose said http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ho-insists-leicester-are-not-title-contenders For what its worth Jose I don't think you will get relegated either
Not with Villa, B´mouth, Sunderland & Newcastle playing like they are. Atleast Chelsea are picking up the odd win here & there.
I guess they kinda haveto add that seeming they are just taking the regular bunch and only putting us in because we are top of the league. If we were 2nd or 3rd, no doubt we wouldn't have our image on there. Wheres the WHU symbol? or the Everton one! Both have more chance of beating Chelski to the punch!
Personally I think Manchester United will probably bore their way to the title, wouldn't be surprised if they won 1-0 at our place next week on their way to it.
I think it's between Man City and Man Utd. Arsenal will have their self-imposed annual Christmas break, not returning until it's far too late, maybe beginning of March... No way will us (!), Liverpool, Tottenham, or (especially) Chelsea win it!
Gotta laugh haven't you but hey but I'll play along and NO we won't win the title hahaha. Nice to be up there though
.. just lap it up whilst it lasts .. none of us could have predicted any of this ... obviously I'm pleased that both Claudio Ranieri and the team are making 'knowledgeable pundits' critics and sceptics eat their words, if not huge portions of humble pie .. You mght recall I put a thread up about John Cross of the Mirror earlier in the season after his "Jamie Vardy is not good enough for England but who else is there?" article and also mentioned his comments on talkSport about Ranieri after his appointment where he wrote us off as favourites for relegation and confidently predicted that Ranieri would be a 'disaster' ? Anyway, fair play to Mr Cross, credit where it is due ... he was on talkSport yesterday around 7am where they were discussing the weekend's football ... Mr Cross not only admitted that he couldn't have been more wrong about Ranieri and Leicester City but also commented that given the way we were playing we could even finish in the top four - he clarified that we 'could' not that we 'would' ... for me it takes a big man to step up and admit publicly to getting it wrong ... Mr Cross has therefore lost his 'ignorant twat' staus in my eyes and has comfortably moved into the 'mild irritation' section Irrespective of where we now finish Ranieri has undoubtedly altered perceptions about himself and the football club ... the football has been a complete joy to watch - they continually surprise me with the resilience, passion, energy and real quality throughout the team .. Huge credit to the owners - a very brave decision to change manager but it is paying dividends and I honestly believe the club is fast becoming the neutrals favourite ... outside of Nottingham, Derby and certain parts of Humberside
I did read somewhere that Ranieri has had 4 seasons in the Premiership, finishing 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd. Just thought I would put that out there
That's it then. Manfred Mann playing as the teams run out on the pitch from now on. Sorry Tom, Serge and post horn gallop - you are doomed.
... you do realise that there will only be 3 of us that get this? For those that don't have a clue - Manfred Mann were a 60s group who had a hit with 'Blinded By The Light' and Barwell is hinting that the sheer brilliance of our football will dazzle the opposition ... ahem ... ... they also did a song for David Moyes ... Davy's On The Road Again
