    Totally gutted for Mama...
    Smither's
I only heard the news when me and the missus got into the ground.. NO ONE deserves so much bad luck.. but I was listening to P and G in the carpark after the game.
Tony P said... we'll look after Mama and his contract is up soon and?? So, so sorry for the big fella but WHY T.P. do/did you include Mama in our 25 man squad. It's not
fair on Mama and it's not right for Stoke City IMHO. Get well soon big guy! As Nick say's, he's done good for us and thank you Mama for that. <ok>

Gutted for Mama. If he has dislocated it then he may well be out for another 6 months minimum. He should retire, he doesn't deserve all this agony. He really has had a traumatic time of it over the past few years, not just with knee injuries, but with the time when he was dragged through glass playing for Mali, and almost died from a severed artery. According to someone on Twitter (reliable), Higgy shouted "NOOOOOO" as went down and the rest of the players looked like they were going to cry.

Some people say you get what you deserve in this life. Well this, for me, proves that that is total rubbish. Never has a nicer bloke had such rotten luck with injuries in a relatively short time in his career.

I hope it's not the end for Mama, he's our best striker even when he's half fit.

    Gotcha!
