can't be Cardiff their all teetotal you can tell with all the Wembley visits they have and they never drink the winners champagne
Must be the time of year for it, i see jimmy Bullard and Chopra were both fined by Ipswich for turning up late for training after going out on the piss at Newcastle the weekend, chopra is a real scum bag, celebrating his goal against cardiff after how that club stood by him and then treating Ipswich the same after they also helped him!! everything that is bad about the modern footballer! Rodger jonson used to be good apparently (only at ccc level for me)but i think he just got found out at this level like many others do, he will head the ball all day long and make your last ditch tackles but i dont think he brings anything else to the party(apart from maybe beer) . There was a reason why none of the bigger clubs came in for him when he supposedly had a fantastic season by relegating Birmingham, the talk of him going to a top club then was laughable and its proved to be well founded, was he worth £5m quid ? well, in todays market probably yes,in real money he is worth about £2m tops, a steady eddy playing slightlyy above his level in the prem league. If we had signed him years ago i think he would have learned more about the footballing side of the game and become quite an asset by now, but playing hoof ball most of his career is only going to get him so far,he has reached the pinnacle of hoof ball at the likes of Brum and Wolves and will always earn a living from those types of clubs. A shame on him for turning up drunk to training, things must be pretty bad to have to have a few beers before starting work
Cant blame him...who wouldnt like to do this before work everyday...especially when the job is as **** as his at the moment. Still think he is a relatively good defender. Wasnt too bad at Birmingham, it was not scoring enough that sent them down, defensively they were ok.
You say he wasnt bad at Brum (him and danns) but they got relegated at the end of the day and im sure the mcleish style was to put everyone behind the ball and be difficult to break down,as we know from our sousa days it can make any defender look world class cant it ? Monk and tate looked world class in sousas set up, leave them exposed and they are well ordinary at prem/ccc level .
I remember when Bellend scored that late winner against us at the Liberty ( and what a cracker it was, fair play), Chopra, who had been subbed, came off the bench and ran in front of the home supporters waving his fists in the air screaming at the top of his voice about 5 feet away from families with kids. I know because he did it right in front of me. I was gobsmacked the way he celebrated scoring for Ipswich against the Blueturds. No class. The guy is a an absolute disgrace, and as you rightly say, NJ embodies everything that's wrong with the modern footballer.
Well we must have been sitting mighty close to each other Knackered! Because he was almost on top of me when he stuck his ugly mug from out under the dugout to wave his fists at us!.........................
