Brent, has reportedly spoken with Warnock about being a mentor to Fletch, and obviously Neil has'nt joined us so far, given there have been various alternative names flagged up.I'm just wondering if there could still be a place for Neil Warnock at Home Park in the future in some kind of capacity if he felt inclined to: thoughts on this anybody?

Warnock would be invaluable to the club as we need all the experience we can get to keep us up. It's a shame that Fletch dos'nt want to play any more as feel he still would contribute greatly on the pitch.

I think the manager offer was at the right time for Fletcher...........his playing days were coming to an end.

I'd assume that Warnock would be in the process of negotiating his redundancy package from QPR which I also presume would be worth more unemployed than employed elsewhere. Ergo perhaps why there has been no reply as such just yet. It would be a little futile to try to argue that Warnock would not be an asset here if he would come. I'm still not sure he would want to however and Fletcher might just be looking over his shoulder if he did.

I agree with sensible, I think once Warnock has finished sorting his compensation with QPR he will be looking around. However I think he has still several years (at least) left as a manager and I doubt he would stay to be Fletchers mentor if a job came up with a higher league team.
I have a feeling he will have offers coming out of his ears soon.
