In short Yes. We all craved the pretty football and the appropriate manger to drive that creative desire forward. Once the dust settles and we acknowledge that the reason for this appointment was probably as much down to the core damage TP had inflicted on the club with the wasting of 100 million in assembling one of (if not the worst) premier league squads, we allow Hughes the opportunity. I do think that we as Stoke fans have short memories and when we reflect on some of the negative and very damaging things TP did to both the players and fans, we will afford Hughes the opportunity any new manager should deserve.
I didn't want him but it's time to get behind him and the team, hopefully we will have some player movement soon and that may help us gage what is in store for us, it is a positive move if you consider what Pulis was doing to us so i think we need to give him some games and time and see where we are then. Up the Potters!!!
I for one will not. The values I hold most dear are honour and integrity. In my opinion; Hughes has neither. ps - Smithers, you are of course quite correct on the 'Why Hughes' decision.
