anyone know when? also any ideas when season tickets will go on sale for next year, normally in May isn't it?
No details yet, I expect it will be announced early next week. We will bring West London to a standstill!
But Northolt last time they didn't announce it for a bit, they have to get permission from the council which may take longer than a day which is how long they've known we're champions.
A friend and season ticket holder just emailed me saying the parade is on May 28th SATURDAY. With ST, on QPR.co.uk it does say current ST holders will get first refuseal then members the joe public.
'ello chaps. First post for me on here (I was formally Kuoo Pee Arrr on the old 606 site). I really hope we do have one and that it's before the 28th. I'd expect most of the players to be on holiday by then. I remember the parade when we went up from the third tier was something special. I think if we had one this time around it'd be 10 times more special as this time we're champions and are going up to the premier. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
28th May? Champions League Final Day..... They could do an open top bus from the Bush to Wembley! Steal some of the Mancs thunder.....
I had heard that we weren't going to have a parade, as the Cops had turned it down. Something to do with being unsure because of the enquiry, and not having enough time to organise police force. However, the 28th is a rumour that just ceases to die! Maybe it IS true????
There is no parade its on the official website due to the fa and not knowing what's going to happen they are thinking about a celebration at the ground pre season.
CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT Posted on: Wed 11 May 2011 Regrettably, the Club can confirm that, for a number of reasons, we will not be holding an end of season parade following our promotion to the Premier League. We know this will be a huge disappointment to our fans who have been fantastic this season and everyone at the Club shares this view. The Club had held discussions about putting such a celebration on going back over a number of weeks but, unfortunately, the on-going FA inquiry, coupled with other factors beyond our control, prevent this from happening. Article continues Advertisement However, plans are already afoot for a pre-season celebration, once the players return to training in July. We will, of course, keep you - our supporters - updated with any developments in due course.
thats poor really going up as champions there should be major celebration party, mind you we all had one on saturday.
