Is there any danger that LFC will get to no 20 before United now that City are here to stay? If City win a couple more titles in the next few years and stop United a couple of more times.... can Liverpool catch up in the 2010s under the Klown?
You would expect SAF to win again before KK. And the LOndon clubs are miles off the pace. So only City can stop no 20 while KK builds a 19-winning team
Forget winning the league in this decade, Liverpool ain't even going to get in the top four this decade, how an earth can they even think about winning the league when they won't get in the top four
What ever KK does, Liverpool ain't going to get in the top four, KK cares more about competitions rather the the league thats why they were a joke in the league, for me as long as KK is still manager of liverpool, they ain't going to get in the top four.
Whats the bets you'd have said that about city 3 years ago? To say you have the next decade of football all worked out is, well.... You should manage a team in that case
No mate, the table doesn't lie,we need to improve bigtime. But hateful plazzies like you make this site fun.
People have seem to forgotten that we finished level on points with City and SHOULD have had it wrapped before the derby but we ****ed that one up. Now all of a sudden City have become the 5th different team to win the Premier League and Man Utd will never win another title again. There was a 19 point gap between 2nd and 3rd this season, the real issue is how are the clubs pushing for Europe going to close that gap? Everton have seemed to found their goal scorer they've needed, if Fulham and Newcastle can keep their squad together, that's 7 teams competing for a top 5 finish, but they will come no where near 2nd, let alone first.
If Chelsea win the CL this season then i think there be the best challengers from outside Manchester.
first of all, dont your lot keep bleating on about how the league is 38 games. You were in it until the last game but it was in your hands in the 3rd last game and Fergie went for a draw and got a loss, thats a failure by the manager, players were terrible, thats a failure by the team, not complacency just bad performances that cost the league title. You say dropped points, City have dropped points on games they probably should have won then we cna fairly go on to say City should have had it wrapped up in march, but they dropped those points as United dropped theirs. This season it was Team v Team for the title, winner takes all, City v United man for man, manager v manager and City came out on top on all counts and won the title despite QPRs best efforts
What's the betting Liverpool will spaff half a billion quid on transfers, plus nearly doubling their wage bill over the next eight years? According to some of your fans your owners only spend what they can raise through cutting costs, so I think the odds are against it That said, Liverpool were 37 points off the pace in 2005, and managed to pull a semi credible title challenge out of the bag four years later, so you can never say never. I doubt Liverpool will get back in the top four any earlier than 2016, cos they are a long way behind Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal in financial terms, and behind Spurs and Newcastle on the pitch, but it's hard to predict beyond that period. Of course you are assuming that Dalglish will still be managing by then...from what I've heard he'll be lucky to make it to June...
None at all. United will be at 20 next year. We will reach 40 before liverpool reach 19. Even if they get a billionaire it wont make any difference.
